Refund policy

Abelohost provides a 30-day money-back guarantee for all web hosting and VPS packages. Refunds for these services are only applicable if cancellation is initiated within 30 days from the original date of the transaction.

For the purposes of this Refund Policy, the “transaction date” refers to the date on which the Client initially purchases a product or service, including the date on which a renewal is processed by Abelohost in accordance with the terms set out in the respective product or service agreement.

Clients are permitted to cancel their services at any point; however, eligibility for a refund is strictly limited to cancellations made within the designated refund period specified for each qualifying product, if such a refund period is available in the first place.

In case you want to place a refund claim, you must do so by opening a support ticket through the client area.

Important Notice: Given their inherent characteristics, cryptocurrencies, tokens, and all other types of digital assets are typically non-reversible and subject to significant market fluctuations. As a result, any products or services purchased through the use of cryptocurrencies, tokens, or said other digital assets are strictly non-refundable, regardless of the specific circumstances surrounding the purchase.

Should a client be found in breach of any applicable legislation or Abelohost’s Terms of Service, any associated payments shall not be reimbursed.

The products eligible for refund are:

  • Web hosting plans;
  • VPS plans.

The products not eligible for refund are:

  • Dedicated servers;
  • Domain name registrations, transfers or renewals;
  • Control panels;
  • Add-on services.

Furthermore, any product or service that has been suspended, canceled, or terminated due to misuse, abuse, or any infringement of the Terms and Conditions is categorically excluded from any refund eligibility.

Chargebacks

Should Abelohost at any point detect a declined payment, chargeback, reversal, payment dispute, risk of fraud, or any other form of rejected payment related to fees owed on your Abelohost account (hereinafter referred to as a “Chargeback”), such an occurrence shall constitute a breach of your financial obligations under this agreement. You hereby acknowledge and agree that Abelohost reserves the right to exercise all legally permissible remedies to recover said funds. These may include, but are not limited to, the immediate suspension or termination—without prior notice—of your Abelohost account and any associated domain names or services registered or renewed on your behalf (“Services”). Furthermore, a Chargeback will result in the deactivation of the credit card checkout option on your account to mitigate the risk of future fraudulent activity.

In the event a Chargeback is executed, Abelohost may block your account, permanently disabling further purchases or reuse. Any data contained within that account—including, but not limited to, website content, settings, or service features—may be deleted and rendered unrecoverable.

Your access to Abelohost Services and the ability to make payments via credit card will not be restored until the following conditions are met:

  • Verification of the payment method used in the disputed transaction, which you can achieve by providing either:
    • Proof of successful payment; or
    • A redacted photograph of the credit card used, clearly displaying only the first six (6) and last four (4) digits.
  • Full repayment of any outstanding fees, including any administrative or processing costs incurred by Abelohost and/or its third-party providers as a result of the Chargeback. This includes fees related to services rendered prior to the Chargeback, handling and dispute resolution expenses, and processor-imposed penalties.

Chargebacks resulting from criminal activity or cases of overt fraud—such as those involving stolen or compromised credit card information that was utilized to purchase Services—will lead to the permanent deactivation of the relevant services and account, without the possibility of reinstatement or data recovery.

In case you have any inquiries or concerns about a payment you made to Abelohost, we strongly advise reaching out to our Customer Support team prior to initiating a Chargeback or reversal. Doing so can help avoid unnecessary service interruptions, account blocks, and the incurrence of additional fees. Filing an unfounded or mistaken Chargeback may also result in your being held financially liable for related penalties, in addition to the repayment of all originally due service charges.

Abelohost reserves the right to contest any Chargeback received. This includes submitting documentation and evidence to the relevant financial institution or credit card issuer demonstrating that the transaction in question was duly authorized and that the associated services were legitimately provided and utilized thereafter.
